The first ever case against the Military Regime of General Parvaiz Musharraf was filed by Mr. Kakakhel in the case of Chief Minister NWFP Mr. Sardar Mehtab Ahmad Khan Abbasi Versus National Accountability Bureau and other high Military hierarchy . The petition was numbered as writ petition No. 1 of 2000.
Mr. Kakakhel was one of the lawyers defending Chief Justice of Pakistan Syed Sajjad Ali Shah before the Peshawar High Court. He conducted the case of Allama Arif Hussain- al -Hussaini for some accused in which Late Governor NWFP General Fazle Haq was an accused.
Innumerable cases relating to elections of both National and Provincial assemblies have been conducted by Mr. Kakakhel besides cases relating to Local Government.
