Smrecina Hofatex belongs to traditional manufacturers of insulation materials on the basis of the wood fibre. For more than half of the century it belongs to a group of the largest European manufacturers producing wood-fibre insulation boards by so called wet process. Hofatex insulation boards are manufactured out of natural raw materials without utilisation of adhesives. Their characteristics meet all criteria of ecological construction materials and they are a full–value alternative for normally used insulation materials such as the mineral wool or polystyrene.
Standard softboards with wide scope of application insulations in interiors, dry floors, acoustic lining, doors cushioning, package material, pinboards. Produced as a one-layer or two-layer (ivory faced) board and also with addition of latex.
