PF3041 Open Phenolic Resin
Phenol-formaldehyde Resin (PF) Is A Polymer Made By Polycondensation Of Phenolic Compounds And Aldehyde Compounds. It Is One Of The Three Major Synthetic Thermosetting Resins.
Performance Characteristics
Good High Temperature Performance: The Cured Phenolic Resin Has Excellent Heat Resistance Due To Its Aromatic Ring Structure And High Crosslinking Density. Generally, At 200°C, The Heat Resistance Of Phenolic Resin Is Good. After Long-term Use At 180°C, It Can Still Maintain Its Structural Integrity And Dimensional Stability.
High Residual Carbon Rate: When It Exceeds 300°C, Phenolic Resin Will Decompose And Gradually Carbonize To Form Residues, And Its Residual Amount Is As High As 60%. At A Temperature Of 800-2500°C, Phenolic Resin Will Generate A Layer Of Carbonized Material On The Surface Of The Material.
Low Smoke And Low Toxicity: PF3041 Open Phenolic Resin is Mainly Composed Of Carbon, Oxygen, And Hydrogen. The Combustion Products Are Less Toxic. It Is Easy To Form A High-carbon Foam Structure During The Combustion Process. It Has A Good Thermal Insulation Effect And Can Prevent Internal Combustion.
Radiation Resistance: The Radiation Resistance Itself Is Poor, But After Being Reinforced With Glass Or Asbestos, It Can Become A Good Radiation-resistant Synthetic Material.
